Apologies for the late reply: While there will one day be an article on the third game (and second) my general opinion is that the re-release (Razor's Edge) is a pig with lipstick. It does a lot of good, but it is still built on bad fundamentals. The game abandons a lot of its previous extras like platforming mixed into the combat, or exploration, in favor of just arena after arena. I am a big fan of the Steel on Bone mechanic, but it also turns most fights into a dodge fest until you get one in and start the chain (especially when going for Karma). I also respect that they tried to fix the UT-spam problem in NG3, which sadly returned in NG3:RE.

I do love its content though, nearly all the series bosses are present, there's a lot of playable characters, co-op is a blast, etc. It is a very 'big' game in a sense, lots of bang for your buck.Haskerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03358991572777841501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5383135057713270914.post-5464728989262692592018-07-07T10:08:10.075+02:002018-07-07T10:08:10.075+02:00Very well written and concisely constructed articl...Very well written and concisely constructed article. Really put my love for the series into it and glad it showed, and that you share that same passion. Those who experienced these games in all their glory are bound together by that passion I believe. I should note that one can still get the Hurricane Packs via ... slightly non-official means. I plan on writing a short piece on how to down the line in hopes of preserving that piece of video-game history.

Again, thank you and hope you'll enjoy the other articles on here too!Haskerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03358991572777841501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5383135057713270914.post-78303126983544168782017-03-27T14:40:19.686+02:002017-03-27T14:40:19.686+02:00Well written. It is quite sad indeed that most of the video archive on Iberians was lost as they contained a lot of information on how to perfect your own game.

"I am the Game" quote was extremely inspirational to get people actually play the game again even after all those years. To be honest, I was actually crying when I first heard that the hurricane packs are no longer available, since they were actually gamechangers. Even though they are no longer available, NGO seems to still shine after so many years.

Well donekeizerantareshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01912294113723941251noreply@blogger.com
